Hello,
Can I and, if so, how do I scan a double sided document on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M277 HP Printer ?
Many thanks,

Hi,
No, it only supports duplex printing, duplex copying but not duplex scanning as from its manual:

If you scan from the windows printer control panel there is an option for manual double sided scanning which works OK. You have to turn the originals round and feed them through a second time. Only works from windows as far as I can see, a bit of a nuisance as you have to walk backwards and forwards between your PC and the printer. Perhaps a firmware update at some time will allow it direct from the printer?

That workaround worked well. Certainly not the greatest solution (to have to go through the back door) and my computer was slow to access that control panel. Your idea of a firmware update to align this with duplex copying makes a lot of sense, but doubt a big ship like HP would make that really good update to an existing product. Nevertheless, for the few duplex scans I may do, this workaround will enable me to garbage an Epson Worforce Pro WF-4630 (with seamless duplex copying & scanning capability) that was highly rated/reviewed that turned out to be a major piece of junk - last inkjet printer I will ever buy. Better/smoother executed than HP but the printing quality was crap from day 1. Replaced it once - I don't give a third strike. Thanks again for your post.
