I'm setting up a brand new 9135e, using the EWS. Under fax receive, I'm tryng to set up archive to email. There are three choices: Print Only, Archive and print, and Archive Only. I choose Archive and print, and it tells me I have to enter the info for my SMTP server. It shows a link to go to the SMTP entry page, but when I click the link, it says Page Not Found.
There appears to be nowhere in the EWS to enter SMTP info. This was a breeze on all my previous HP printers, but setting up this beast has been a nightmare.

Not familiar with this product but in most cases there is a section for setting up SCAN TO EMAIL. This is typically where the SMTP settings are entered.
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.

That did help put me on the trail.
I looked under Scan, and there were several scans, but no Scan to Email.
Further searching through the jungle of undocumented choices revealed a selection Enable All Quicksets, which added Scan to Email under the Scan function, and I managed to wiggle through the horribly designed interface to find the SMTP entries.
Thanks much.
To HP:
Call me old fashioned, but I'm used to documentation. This whole "setup from your phone" is what we old-timers call a stupid idea. Tell me what each choice means, and I'll decide how I want it set.
Example: Confirm Fax Number. No explanation of what it does. On some devices it matches incoming fax number to caller ID or internal whitelist. No. On HP devices it means you have to enter the outgoing number twice. Where is the documentation of every last setting?? I am not in the mood for a **bleep** snipe hunt.
