Hi.

Check the box to use a secure connection (SSL/TLS)

Uncheck the box to validate server certificate

Now click on Save and Test and check for any difference.

Now it says SMTP email server error. Server might be down or busy

HP Recommended

Use smtp.gmail.com as the server

use either 465 or 587 as the port

Check the box to use user credentials, be sure to type your full email address and Gmail password and test.

If the same error persists, select the Network tab and then click on IPv4 for the active network connection type (wired / wireless)

Set a manual DNS address as 8.8.8.8 as the Primary one and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary.

Now return to Scan > Scan to Email and perform the test again.

Can you see any difference?

It is connected wirelessly

Thanks for clarifying.

Swipe down the top icons bar on your printer screen, then tap the gear icon.

Click on Network Settings, then Wireless Settings and print a Wireless Test Report from that menu.

Can you see any warning indicated by the wireless test report?

Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.

Under current configuration it says warning: wen services require the printer to have a connection to a network with internet connectivity

Thanks, this indicates any connection problem to the internet through your home network, to get a better understanding of any possible cause I did ask to run a Wireless Test Report, not a Web Access Test Report which is a different report.

Please run the test from the menu indicated in the previous post, be sure to select the "Wireless Test Report" option.

Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
