Using 'scan' from the printer. The "Scan to Computer" list is huge and includes several computers that are no longer in service. Please advise how I would go about deleting some of them. Appreciate your help.

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Did you check the printer user guide or related HP Articles to complete this task?
If you haven't, here's an article that should help your cause: Click here for steps
Follow these steps to make changes to the account settings of your Scan to Email profile.
To change account settings
1. Touch Scan, and then touch Email.
2. On the control panel display, select the account that you want to change, and touch Modify.
3. Select which setting you want to modify, and follow the onscreen prompts.
● Auto-login
● Store Email
● Remove from list
● Change PIN
● Delete Account
For more detail, please go through the User guide of your printer, Chapter 5. Page number 44.
If the issue persists, you would need to perform a semi full reset to fix the problem. However, as the steps to perform a semi full reset is confidential and dedicated to your printer. I will be sending you a private message please watch your inbox for more information.
Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile,
Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

I'm glad you pointed out as I might have missed on that, don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
the solution is to delete the device from your device manager list. Best to disable one then test in case you delete the wrong one. i have attached a screen shot.

Thank you for your response - but I found another solution before I received your reply (did a factory reset ). I have never used the Community Forum before and I am impressed and appreciative of the response I received. hanks again
