My scanner will not work.  It prints fine.  I have used scan doctor and no help.  I have tried reloading drivers and that is not working.  What next?

Welcome to the HP support community.

Did you make a copy and check if that works fine?

Are you getting any error messages while scanning?

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?

Reply with the requested information for more assistance.

Cheers.

Apparently it appears HP have removed the solution centre. The solution centre is no longer available and there is no alternative replacement as far as I know. The scanner cannot work without the solution centre so it appears my printer is now obsolete. My printer is a Deskjet 4500 series. It prints ok but nothing comes up on my laptop screen when I select scan. The scan doctor just says I need the solution centre and gives a link to download it, but it is not there. What a waste of time.
