Scanning from document feeder has two black lines the length of page. ONLY with Document Feeder - scanning from glass is fine. Dirty roller somewhere? Fairly new printer/scanner - document feeder hardly used.

Scan a blank A4 and upload here.
Save as jpg, 300 dpi, unchanged upload here, click on the icon "Insert photos", "Set format = Large", original size.
I'll take a close look at it.

Not quite fixed - but the two black lines are now just one, so obviously on the right track! Thank you. Being a new (6 months old) printer/scanner, I had not realised that it had two scan glasses. Thank you again. I'll keep at it.

Andre-611 - All fixed! Scan output from doc feeder now pristine again. Thanks. Had a really close look at the 'small' scanner glass - saw a slight mark of smething that I removed with spectacles glass cleaner on a soft lint-free cloth. Excellent tip! Thanks again!
