Easy Scan saving blank scans after update to Ventura OS 10.6

I have two Mac computers. One has the "Hp Utility program". the other does not. I was able to use the Hp Utility to fix the blank scan problem. Both use the Ventura OS. I would like to put the Hp Utility program on the other mac but I can't find that program in the App store or on any Hp website. Does anyone know where or how to get the utility program? I cannot just copy it from one Mac to another for some reason.

By the way, here is the fix if you already have the Hp utility program:

Go into your HpUtility, open Scan to Computer, go to edit scan tasks, click on Save as PDR and then Edit... After you click on edit, change PDF to PDF-Searchable. Once I made this change the Scan to Computer started working again

i just spent the better part of an hour trying to use Easy Scan. Finally used Mac Preview, which got the job done in a jiffy.

Running Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1, same problem of blank PDFs. Tried "PDF-Searchable" and it worked fine though.

Excellent - thanks Mac OS Ventura13.0.1 Save as PDF Searchable - works fine.  
So pleased I can now ditch HP App.  

Had a nightmare on the journey by upgrading the firmware which rejected my Non Chip Compatible Cartridges.  Found a cheap compatible solution on Amazon.

Were you able to download the HP utility program? If so, how did you do it?

I experienced the same problem.  I saved to "Printer" and then saved to PDF.  It worked!
