This machine seems to two sided print but does not have auto two sided copy and scan.  It has to be done manually. Is this correct or should I be able to put a two sided paper in the auto feed and get a wo sided copy or scan?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This printer has a duplexer for printing.
But no duplexer for copying and scanning.

To be able to copy and scan a two-sided document, the manual two-sided function is available, Scan multi-page two-sided documents (Windows, Mac) .
