Product: HP Officejet Pro 6978

After Mac OS 11 Big Sur update I could no longer scan from HP Easy Scan. I tried to fix the problem by uninstalling all HP products using the HP Easy Start program. Now as a second problem, when I tried to reinstall my printer, the program cant find my printer for some reason. Help!

Found a fix.

 

Uninstalled HP Software via HP Easy Start.

 

Be sure to download latest version of HP Easy Start, only released on November 12, 2020.

 

Reinstalled printer software and everything works as normal.

Thanks, That worked perfectly.  Got the Latest Easy Start.app.  It installed the updated drivers and

everything scans perfectly now.   Easy Scan now works fine again.
