HP Easy Scan for MAC does not save scans after update

have a Macbook Pro w/ OS 12.7 and HP Easy Scan updated overnight, and it crashes when I try to save a scan of any size to a folder on the computer. The sidebar Adjust feature has disappeared, only Straighten and Crop remain.   I uninstalled and re-installed from Apple's App Store but identical problem. The App version says Version 2.0.0 (240214).  Does anyone know a solution or workaround?

HP Easy Scan 2.0 is broken.  Please fix it.  I have the same issue, MacOS is Sonoma 14.3.1 &  HP Easy Scan is 2.0.  It will scan a document, but once you try to edit or save the document, HP Easy Scan crashes.  Thankfully, my wife's computer is not updated, her computer has Somona 14.3 and HP Easy Scan 1.10.0, and it worked fine.

HP Easy Scan Version 2.0.0 (240214) is broken.   I have the same problem.  After scanning, unable to save on my mac.  I'm on macOS 13.6.4.

I know the issue is with the HP Easy Scan software, as I am able to scan and save using HP Smart software 17.0.1

Very frustrating!!!!   Having the same issue.  Only way to "talk" to real person is to pay for support.  HP, you broke it, please fix it.  I need to be able to scan and edit NOW!

I have the same issue using the same, up to date, 14.3.1 version of Mac OS, with at HP Inkjet Pro 5015e.  There is a workaround (which is clumsy and time consuming) by scanning using the HP Smart app which was also recently updated.  BUT HP NEEDS TO fix the Easy Scan 2.0 software ASAP.

Same problem. I'm on a 2021 iMac (M1) running 13.6.

Since the HP Easy Scan app update loaded on 2/16/2024,  I can no longer scan and save to a PDF. Interesting that I am able to scan and save to a jpeg. Please get this bug fixed asap please.

I have the same issue.  I can save it as a pdf, by going to the save to printer protocol.  But the valuable ability to save to file is now NONEXISTENT.
