Just bought an Envy 6032 which clearly states in the specs "Copy reduce / enlarge settings | Via HP Smart app".
This is not an option in the Smart App so how do you enlarge something when you scan it?
I have bought this for my mother who is partially sighted based on the HP Spec as it is imperative she is able to do this - and simply!
Has anyone worked out how to resolve this?
Thank you

Hi,
Could you please clarify where you see this statement? I couldn't locate it on the specs or by a google search, maybe due to some words mismatch.
You may gain more control when resizing using the HP Smart app from a mobile device than from a PC, there you may scan and then click on Print, tap the preview and select Resize to resize the scanned item as you like, is there access to a smartphone or tablet or a PC only?

Datasheet HP ENVY 6032 All-In-One Printer
Copy and Scan are different operations.
Copy is the act of making a direct copy of an existing object (on paper or something viewed through the camera on the device) - possibly changing the output size of that copy - and printing the output onto paper. Printer supports Copy operations to reduce / enlarge the output.
Copy
Copier settings | Colour, monochrome |
Color copy capability | Yes |
Maximum number of copies | Up to 9 copies |
Copy reduce / enlarge settings | 25 to 200% |
Copy speed (black, normal) | ERROR123 |
Copy resolution | Up to 300 x 300 dpi |
Scan is the act of placing an object on the printer (or, depending on what you are doing, even importing and object (image or document) and then saving the output in the computer, "sharing" the object scanned, saving the object, or even (when using Import) printing the object (image or document).
I believe the feature works - though there does appear to be a Caveat when using HP Smart for Copy.
Starting on Page 66
You can use the HP Smart app to copy and scan documents or photos using your device camera.
Understand that I could wrong about what you are trying to do and / or I might have missed something about the feature and how it actually functions. True, too, I have not used the Copy via Camera method - I am guessing about the exact methodology.
In general, the following should work
Use the Printer to Copy and make an actual physical copy of a paper image / document.
If you wish to Copy using HP Smart for Windows, use the Camera as the input (as opposed to placing items on the printer).
Use HP Smart for Windows to Scan an image or document placed on the printer.
Odd Note: HP Smart for Windows can "scan" a saved file using Import - this seems not so different from opening a saved file and then sending it to Print, of course. Nonetheless the Scan > Import > Print feature is available.
Save the scanned image or document to your computer (or you can also select Share to email that scanned item)
Need a paper copy of the scanned document?
Open the saved image or document in HP Smart for Windows
Print that document at the size you want on the paper you choose.
