I am having difficulty scanning documents from the HP LaserJet M234sdw.

 

I placed two A4 sheets of paper in the document tray and used the HP Smart software on my Windows 11 to scan from the Document Feeder with Page Size set to A4.

 

I should have ended up with two pages in the HP Smart software, but I ended up with five pages with the scanned documents cut off and weird points.ApplicationFrameHost_1z7hzof4m7.pngApplicationFrameHost_lEMWMr3NoZ.png

What about then you copy ( not scan) the same 2 pages how is the copy coming out?

Talked to HP support for over an hour today to troubleshoot this issue. It was decided that my HP LaserJet M234sdw is faulty within a few weeks of my purchase. I am waiting for HP to send me information about how to get a replacement unit.

The copy test confirmed it's hardware failure, not sure will a firmware help.
