I just changed to Windows 11. Now my HP Laserjet Pro CM1415 NFW no longer has a scan icon. And when I do access the scanning menu through the printer driver, it no longer allows me to scan as PDF. Just as a Tif, a jpeg, etc. No one wants to receive a document unless it is a PDF.
I have attempted to download the drivers, numerous times. I get a fatal error each time.
Do Windows 11 drivers exist for this printer?

This device is not listed on the Windows 11 supported list published by HP https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/ish_4839960-4840167-16
Likely Microsoft has a built in Windows driver that will let the printer print, but scanning support is likely limited. One work around you can use is to use a program like CutePDF to print the resulting JPEG as a PDF file. I realize that is extra steps, but sometimes products reach a point where they cannot keep up to current requirements.

Thanks so very much for your help with this. You are correct. I can print, and I can copy. Scanning can only be done to a photo format (Jpeg, Tif), and saved just 1 photo at a time.
The printer is 11 years old, I guess it is time to start shopping for a new one that is Windows 11 compatible.
Thank you again for your help and your time. I must have uninstalled and installed the drivers 5 times, obviously with no success.
