The ADF core assembly CZ181-60107 has been replaced due to the Separator pad assembly (document feeder) CB780-60009 tab broke off. Couldn't find just that piece so I replaced the core assembly completely - when I attempt to scan, copy, or fax, the display indicates paper is detected in the ADF, I select copy (for example) and I get the following error message:
"Document feeder jam. Clear and Reload" Press Ok - Pressing OK does nothing - I have to Power the Printer Down and Power back on. Please note, this is the same issue that occurred after the separator pad tab broke - the ADF was working perfectly prior to the broken tab -  I have performed the recommended "Default reset" (Setup/Service/Reset Defaults) and same issue. All other printer functions work normally. There is NO jammed paper in the ADF/scanner or paper feeder from the paper bin. The Firmware has been updated as well on 07 02 2020

I have seen in this forum regarding "resetting the NVRAM"  as a solution and there was a link but it was a dead link and an HP support tech stated an Email would be sent with the proper steps to accomplish this. If resetting the NVRAM does not, what else may be the issue? is there anything else I can Try? Please note, I am a CompTIA A+ Certified Tech and have many years of experience servicing Printers and Computers (HP) so I know most of the Tricks but this one has me stumped - Any help and or Suggestions would be most welcome and appreciated.

@ecstefanov, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I am not sure if the issue can be resolved by resetting the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!
