BOTH HP MFP scanners that we've had scan CROOKED, SKEWED pages. 100% of the time - on BRAND NEW MFP scanners!

 

If HP can't get it right - how about they create a FREE de-skew application to straighten the PDFs, rather than making people pay for Adobe, JUST to fix the bad HP scanner?

First, start with "ANY" HP MFP scanner.

 

THEN, try an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw.

I am trying to help and your attitude is not appreciated. FYI, any HP Enterprise Flow model has automatic scan straightening. asked for your model number to ensure I did not lead you down the wrong path. I suggest you try the Universal Scan Software, download here https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SJ0001/MFPs/Full_Webpack-51.9.5975-SJ0001_Full_We.... While not designed for the Pro models I have used it successfully on a few different ones. 

 

As you can see, there is an option to straighten scans under advanced settings.
