When I scan it always scans both sides with no option to only scan one side of the document.
How do I change this?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Did you attempt changing the options on the printer control panel?
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
Review the following list to learn more about control panel buttons, icons and lights.
Figure : Control panel buttons, icons, and lights
2. Control panel
Touch the control panel display to select menu options, or scroll through the menu items.
Scan Settings:
-
Computer
-
<choose computer>
-
Original 2-Sided
-
On/Off toggle
-
-
Let me know how that pans out
