Printer will not copy and I checked the light bar and it is lit and scanning and the page comes out blank. Go to print and it works just fine.
Tried doing a hard reset by unplugging the power and holding the power button for 60 sec. still same.
One oddity I noticed consistently, the paper has a 1 inch wide indent / crease across it in the horizontal direction like it was being fed, then suddenly compressed in on place, then released. It did this consistently with about 10 pages all identical. But with printing it does not appear.
Another HP mystery product defect. Getting seriously tired of all these HP printers I own dying with random failures. Looked on Consumer reports and found that Brother had the highest rating as far as lack of defects and customer satisfaction. HP needs to wake up before they end up shutting down and going under.
