HP SMart App Upgrade

I've used the HP Smart App for scanning for years. Now the new upgrade takes almost 5 minutes to start up and frequently needs me to log in again. Frustrating!!

Same here, takes too long. In addition scanning does not work with HP Smart. Works fine with HP print assistant

My produkt is a printer, HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, produkt No 3UK83B...

Any chance of going back to the old version of the app until it is debugged?

The latest version of HP Smart is too buggy and too slow. In fact, if you try to edit a scanned document in HP Smart, most of the time the document will get messed up on the bottom half of the page. I advise you to use the regular PC utility, HP Scan--it is faster, takes/processes better images especially on monochrome gray-background text as in text tables.

Until the HP Smart App is debugged, I'm using the HP Scan programme which works perfectly 🙂

I totally agree, and that is what I'm doing. It only took a while before I realised that that was an option 🙂

Same here.

Scanning doesn't work anymore. It reports that scanning is not available.

It does still work through other options:

- HP Scan & Capture

- Android app

It's an HP Photosmart 5520.
