HP Scan & Capture app is not finding device. I have uninstalled & reinstalled device & drivers, I see and am able to print to my device from my computer and device is connected to WIFI (indicator shows connected and was successful in printing).
I have reviewed several community threads and still not able to find solution. My computer is an HP Envy Desktop.
Appreciate any help with this.

Try to install the updated version of the driver. Same happening with me yesterday when I was printing a document file of top commercial lawn mowers for our clients. So due to the issue we also loss the client. But after that I searched for the updated version of the driver and when installed that so the scanner and printer both started properly working.

Hi @sdkwolf,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing issues with HP Scan and capture. I'd like to help!
Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem
Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
The following resource will help you :
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
Key in your printer model, Operating System, and download & install the FULL feature software.
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
(note that the FULL feature software is not HP Scan and Capture)
Hope that helps.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I have downloaded the HP Print and Scan Doctor and this issue was not resolved. I have contacted HP Support and they tell me that my printer device is no longer compatible with windows beyond windows 7 and so on as there are no drivers available to support windows 10
