We have the same err0r, but this time slightly different - our mail client is IBM notes 9.0.1. FP10. OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 and "sent to mail recipient" works fine.  Still, when scanning HP Scan says - "the hp scan application cannot find an email application installed on the computer". I have checked that default Mailto is set to IBM Notes.

 

Any ideas appreciated!
