HP Smart App Updated (auto) yesterday, and now I cannot scan "Couldn't Connect to scanner" error

THANK YOU!! This has corrected my problem and my app is working again.  Hopefully soon HP will fix it so we don't all have to go through this.

Brilliant Solution. Many thanks. HP Smart stopped talking to my admittedly ancient Deskjet 3630 after the June 2024 update. I rolled it back to May, re-setup the printer and everything is back to normal.

Brilliant fix, rollback to the last working.  Thanks for the solution. Saved me some headache. Only thing I hated was navigating through the clickbait to get to the installer pkg.

THANK YOU!  After trying to troubleshoot this issue all week, your suggestion fixed my issue for now!  Let's hope the next "update" addresses the issue.

THIS HP SUGGESTED FIX DOES NOT WORK!!!!  NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE PREVIOUS APP TO RESTORE FUNTION.

Having this same issue.  I did EVERYTHING they told me more than once.  I spent HOURS with this, and still nothing resolved!
