Hi,
I have an Officejet 6310 printer All-in-One printer, and I recently uninstalled adobe flash player. Eversince, HP Solution center shows a grey adobe flash player logo. I have looked around the HP community forum, found similar topics and have attempted to apply some of the recommended solutions. Specifically,I installed HP Scan and Capture as well as HP Scan extended software - which both work ok - but they're way too basic in features and tools, compare to HP Solution center. I have also been able to perform scans directly from the ensuite control panel of the HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One printer as well as via the printers and devices section of windows control panel, but I still find these tools, extremely basic, as to the quality, the features and the availability of scanning formats, esepecially PDF scanning text options.
Any ideas, on how I could get HP Solution Center back to work, or at least get an equivalent application, which can handle various formats and PDF scanning options, would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks 🙂

Hi,
HP Scan Extended would be the most feature reach workaround for your printer.
If you refer to OCR scanning, I may suggest trying the 3rd party NAPS2 application which include OCR Capabilities to a searchable PDF file:

You may fax from the computer by printing to the Fax queue (e.g. HP Officejeet 4500 (Fax).
If you are referring to faxing an original on the device itself, either send it from the printer front panel itself or else scan it to your computer and then print it to the fax queue.
