Product: HP Office Jet Pro 8710
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I'm trying to scan multiple legal documents with the top feeder but it only scans a regular paper sized portion. the glass is on made to have 8.5x11 and I really don't want to phoshop ducuments this thing should be able to scan via the paper feeder.

Hi,

From the Presets menu of HP Easy Scan press Edit Settings.

Set the scan type as Document and the source as Document Feeder and then change the size to US Legal.

 

You may save the setting as a Preset so it will become avialable directly from the Presets menu in the future.
