Hi @BoblWi,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To adjust the size of letters or text on a scanned copy using your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-In-One Printer, you typically need to adjust the settings before or after scanning, depending on the features supported by your printer and scanning software. Here’s how you can do it:
Before Scanning (Setting Original Document Size)
- Adjust the Original Document Size:
- Place the document you want to scan on the scanner glass or in the automatic document feeder (ADF), depending on your printer model.
- On the printer's control panel or via the HP Smart app on your computer:
- Select the Scan option.
- Choose the Document Size option to match the size of your original document (e.g., A4, Letter, Legal).
- This ensures that the scanned copy is the correct size relative to the original document.
After Scanning (Enlarge or Resize the Scanned Image)
Using HP Smart App (On Computer or Mobile Device):
- After scanning, open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Find the scanned document in the app's interface.
- Select the document and look for options such as Resize or Edit.
- In the editing options, you can usually find tools to zoom in or enlarge the text or image.
On Printer Control Panel (If Supported):
- Some HP printers allow you to adjust the copy size directly on the printer’s control panel after scanning.
- Navigate to the Copy menu or Scan menu on the printer’s control panel.
- Select the scanned document and look for options like Resize or Enlarge. Follow the prompts to adjust the size.
Kindly check the next set of steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi @BoblWi,
Kindly find the next set of steps below.
Additional Tips:
- Save as PDF or Image File: When saving the scanned document, choose a file format that supports resizing without loss of quality, such as PDF or PNG.
- Print Settings: If you plan to print the scanned document, adjust the print settings on your computer or through the printer’s control panel to enlarge the document before printing.
If specific options like resizing are not available directly on your printer or through the HP Smart app, you may need to use image editing software on your computer to resize the scanned document manually after saving it. This method allows for more precise control over the document size and text enlargement.
By following these steps, you should be able to adjust the size of letters or text on a scanned copy using your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-In-One Printer effectively. If you encounter any difficulties or if these options are not available, or unable to do so, I recommend you contact phone support.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
