Product: HP Officejet Pro 9019/Premier printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've a new printer and it will scan all items with a choice of photo formats but none for pdf or any other format.  I've downloaded the full set of drivers but it still only allows this one choice. I need pdf. I can do this on my old HP printer but not my new one. How do I fix this?

Please ensure that the FULL featured software is installed,

 

This resource will show you how.

 

Then check out these resource to scan.  The option to Save as PDF is there,

HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 | 9028 | 9020 | 9015 | 9018 : Scan a 2 sided brochure & merge to 1 page

 I assumed that all the software had been downloaded when it was first set up. I went to HP downloaded the full software and now I have what I need. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
