I'm trying to scan a document but when I click "scanner" in the HP smart option nothing happens.

How scould I do to scan a paper dodument to a pdf-file and store it on the computer?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Is the printer connected to the network?  Perhaps, can do a restore to the wireless and try to connect using HP Smart app again?

 

This resource shows how to reset the wireless to defaults for the printer:

After a successful reset, try to connect the printer using HP Smart before attempting to Scan a document and Save as PDF file.
