I can print but can not scan from my android phone to hp laserjet pro mfp m26nw printer by hp smart

Are you able to make photocopies on the printer? If yes, follow the steps below-

Check for any updates on your android phone.

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Restart the devices and try scanning.

If you still have issues, uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App > try scanning.

All the mentioned procedures were applied but no any progress achieved.

Yes, I can make the photostate copies also can scan from my laptop working on windows 10 but can not scan from Android mobile phone.

Sorry, the HP Smart App is not compatible with the printer. Just checked the mobile printing compatibility list- https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03722645.
