Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

In the past I cloud scan double sided from the feeder. At this moment it isn't possible anymore. I tried to delete the drivers and reinstall them.
Unfortunately it still doesn't work wich is very frustrating. Is there anyone who could help me with this problem?

The single-sided scan form the feeder works perfect by the way.

Hi,

What application you are scanning from?

 

What happens when you try scanning with the HP Easy Scan app?

 https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hp-easy-scan/id967004861?mt=12

 

Click teh Presets menu and select Edit Settings, then set the Scan Type as Document, the Source as Automatic Document Feeder and check the box next to Scan Both Sides.

 

If it fails, what exact error message or behavior do you see?

The point here in this quesion is that THERE IS NO LONGER A DIALOG BOX THAT LET"S YOU SELECT DOUBLE SIDED PRINTING. I have the 8600 which a bought a long time ago because several times each year I have to scan 50+ page documents double sided. I really enjoyed this feature and found it relatively easy through the feeder.

 

HOWEVER, that entire operational box is no long to be found on my PC. Windows 10 forces you to get one of their "apps" for scanning and it seems to have been built without any recognition that most documents are double sided.

 

What can be done to get the original dialog screen back? See attached image for what I am looking for:scanning screen.jpg
