Now when I try to scan to my computer I get the error message "No computer found". I reran the install disk and followed all the prompts which confirm that my wireless system is connected to the printer and vise versa. However, when I try to go into the software off the programs listing or the icons, I"m not able to open the HP software to even look at the manage scan to computer settings. Solutions?

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit

the printer is connected wirelessly

recently upgraded to Microsoft Office and Student 2010 and Bitdefender 2012

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Before scanning anything to your computer you need to establish (or enable) the scan process. It will ask you where do you to scan to because you may connect more than one computer to ii. Just from Printer Main menu, click Manage Scan to Computer. You can enable it when Windows starts:

Hope this helps.

i'm having the same problem. Ran the HP Print and San Doctor which said product had incomplete driver instalation. Ran install of drivers through the Doctor but when it got to the connection stage (selecting USB as I don't have wireless on my PC) it said the device was not connected.

Still prints fine, so the USB connection is working.

So stuck in a loop of the Doctor saying install drivers but driver instalation cannot complete.
