Thanks for replying back @cjbd,
Are you able to open the HP Scan Software when you do a search from the Mac?
Are you trying to scan multiple pages from the printer to the Mac or from the HP Scan Software?
You should be able to open the HP Scan Software and edit everything from there.
Normally, you would have to select PDF to scan multiple documents to one file if that is what you are trying to do.
Since this model only has a flatbed, you should be notified to scan another page.
Here is a document for scanning from the printer's control panel: HP Deskjet 3520 e-All-in-One and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3520 e-All-in-One Printer Series - How to ...
If the HP Scan Software isn't working properly you will have to uninstall and reinstall the software again.
I have provided the uninstall document: HP Printers - Uninstalling the Printer Software (Mac).
Here is the link to the drivers: HP-Inkjet-SW-OSX-Mavericks_v12.34.40.dmg
Please get back to me. Thanks!
