Thanks for replying back @cjbd,

Are you able to open the HP Scan Software when you do a search from the Mac?

Are you trying to scan multiple pages from the printer to the Mac or from the HP Scan Software?

You should be able to open the HP Scan Software and edit everything from there.

Normally, you would have to select PDF to scan multiple documents to one file if that is what you are trying to do.

Since this model only has a flatbed, you should be notified to scan another page.

Here is a document for scanning from the printer's control panel: HP Deskjet 3520 e-All-in-One and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3520 e-All-in-One Printer Series - How to ...

If the HP Scan Software isn't working properly you will have to uninstall and reinstall the software again.

I have provided the uninstall document: HP Printers - Uninstalling the Printer Software (Mac).

Here is the link to the drivers: HP-Inkjet-SW-OSX-Mavericks_v12.34.40.dmg

Please get back to me. Thanks!

Greetings @cjbd,

Thanks for accessing the HP Support Forums for extra support! I see that you are experiencing issues scanning multiple pages. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.

When using the HP Scan Software, it will scan the first page and then you should be getting a message if you want to scan another page.

Here is a screen shot:
You can select the flatbed or the ADF.

Then you should be automatically prompted if you want to scan another page.

If you are still having issues, delete the printer from Printers and Scanners and add the printer driver back in again.

Here is a document for scanning: HP Printers - How to Scan to a Mac (OS X).

Thanks Gemini 02 - my screen doesn't look like that. I'm using HP Utility (and it will scan a single page)- is HP Scan soemthing else? Or is it because I'm connected to the printer by wi-fi?

Great - thanks gemini02. I reinstalled and realised I didn't orginally have HP scan installed - just the HP Utility which allowed me to scan single pages but no more. I have now scanned multiple pages into one pdf doc. So I'm a happy customer thank you.
