Hi @JazminDaSilva,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Your fax number is typically assigned by your phone service provider when you set up your fax line. It's separate from your email or cell phone number. If your email or cell phone number is appearing on the fax history log, it might be because you have configured your fax machine or service to include that information as the sender's identification.
To find out your fax number:
- Check the documentation that came with your fax machine or service. It should contain information about your fax number.
- If you're using a digital fax service, log in to your account on their website or app. Your fax number should be displayed in your account settings or profile information.
- Contact your phone service provider. They should be able to provide you with your fax number.
Once you have your fax number, you can update the settings on your fax machine or service to ensure that the correct information is displayed on the fax history log. This will help recipients identify the sender more accurately.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
