Is it possible to send T.38 fax via the ethernet connection? My VoIP provider supports T.38.

No,

The printer offers analog fax capabilities and must be connected to a phone line for faxing.

For faxing you must have an analog telephone adapter as described under "Can I fax with VoIP Internet telephone service?" below:
