Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. I see I now how HP Smart Version 130.1.323.0 and still have the same issue I reported on 7-20-2021.

Exact same issue. Very disappointing there isn’t a bug fix yet!!!!  Get with it HP.

Scan from glass works fine.  From document feeder, it appears to scan but result is a blank page/

 

Tried reinstalling software but did not work.  Went to Microsoft site and downloaded HP SCAN AND CAPTURE.

That app scanned perfectly from the document feeder.

 

I am running Windows 10,  with an HP Officejet 5740

The Latest SP Smart updated 131.1.242.0 Available Sept 27, 2021 seems to have fixed the issue.

The latest version HP Smart for Mac, version 13.1.0 works on my Envy 7640 also..

Glad they finally worked it out..
