Hi,
I've had this printer for many years but ran into something today that I have not had to do before. I wanted to scan a couple double-sided pages into one PDF file. I typically only use this printer for printing and the occasional scan of one side of a document or several one sided documents through the feeder. I figured for double sided I'd need to use the page directly on the glass.
I put page 1 side 1 on the glass, brought up HP Scan To, picked Scan and picked PDF, named the file, it scanned then I clicked Accept and then it asked if I wanted another page, I say yes, it scans page 2 and then Accept just doesn't accept the click. I closed/re-opened the software, tried again, same thing. It seems to me I can't scan more than one page?
I googled around and a lot of people say to use HP Printer Assistant from the full feature driver but for this printer that is not included nor is its predecessor HP Solution Center.
I ended up just using my iPhone to scan all the pages and that was easy but curious if anyone else knows how to do this.
Thanks

Hi,
It cannot be done with the Scan To Software provided for your printer, but HP Scan Extended should allow you much easier results for such and will work with your printer too.
Download and install HP Scan Extended below:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
From the start menu search for HP and open HP Scan Extended.
Select Save as PDF
You should see a Page Side option in the right pane, select Booklet and press on Scan with the entire batch in the top feeder.
Reload the other side as the HP Scan software prompts to and then complete scanning the next side, the software will auto-arrange the scan, then click on Save to complete the scan.
