Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Upon scanning the document, the scanner showed a message
"Scanning was cancelled from the scanner"
I didn't have any problems scanning documents until I installed the latest update. The printer worked flawlessly with the factory software. HP should have released an update archive so we can downgrade the software to factory one. I do not expect the solution any time soon since I have been getting looping Windows 10 updates for HP to be updated for years now. Nothing fixes the "Scanning was cancelled from the scanner" unless I use the universal HP scanning software which proves the original software is bugged.
