Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

My ten year old printer seems to be telling me that it is retiring and will only produce scans that are upside down. Also, I have been charged for ink cartridges based on the number of pages I have printed. The problem is, I'm lucky if the printer actually prints anything on the hundreds of pieces of paper that have actually made it through. Usually, the paper feeder just sits there and eventually sends me a message to press "OK" on the little window. Sometimes that even works. Anyway, I don't think this old antique laser jet printer can actually print trouble free because it never has. I will be giving up on HP and study up on what the reliable brands for my next purchase.
