Hi I have checked the documentation for my HP Smart Tank 530 and it indicates that the scanner is cable of 1200dpi scanning. When I try to get this resolution from the ADF it does not allow me to select anything greater than 300 dpi. If I select the Glass/Platten it does allow 1200 dpi. Anyone else having this issue with the latest driver on the website?

Hi,
This is expected with any current HP printer,, it is an expected behavior for the HP Scan application or the HP Smart app, the Automatic Document Feeder supports up to 300dpi, the Flatbed Glass only allows higher resolutions, up to 1200.
You may check for 3rd party scanning software which may allow such capabilities as you like to achieve, such as NAPS2 as an example:
