I’m on a fully updated Windows 11 machine with my HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fdw wired to my home network. Using the HP Smart app, I don’t see an option for two-sided scanning. My options, when using the Smart App, are very limited. Can someone please tell me what I'm missing? Thanks!

Hi,
The HP Smart app do not offer manual two sided scanning capabilities, your printer model does not offer any such automatic functionality.
Please download and install the HP Full Feature Software option below:
Following the installation open the HP Scan software for your printer and click the more > option, there look for Two-Sided and change the setting, then press OK and scan.
Following the first side scanning you would be prompt to reload the other side of the original to scan and auto arrange the other side of the scan job.
