Until HP fixes the problem, I installed the ReadIris Pro 14 and go through it to scan then I copy it as a picture into my photo software to work it....

It worked.  Use "ENTIRE SCAN AREA" when selecting Page Size.

I am running windows 10 and have tried everything as suggested but the printer will scan but no allow me to save 11 x 17.  Had a fix been established yet as I see this is an old problem.
