I am having difficulty in enabling the scanning facility of ordinary documents by using the keypad on the Deskjet Printer. I press 'Scan to Computer' which leads me to the word 'Others' on the Deskjet mini screen and then to a host of scanning options including 'Scan to SimonFurness-PC' which is my computer but then it leads me to 'Photo to TIF' which I dont want. I just want to scan the image in a simple format and recover it on my computer desktip. Part of the problem may be that I have inadvertently connected two or more of the same printer and I don't know how to remove the one I dont need. The choices given are 'HP Deskjet 3520 Series (Network) and HPAOF230 (HP Deskjet 3520 series).

Hey there! @S_F1, Welcome to HP forums.
Don't worry I will try to help you out.
I understand that you have scanning issues with your printer.
Please uninstall the printer driver from the control panel and install the full feature driver for your printer.
Link to install full feature drivers.
Also, refer this article to troubleshoot scan issues.
Let me know if this works!
Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂

@S_F1, thanks for the reply.
You don't need the discs since the link in my previous post has the printer full feature software.
You can click on the link download and install the file on your PC.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Cheers! 🙂
