Hi,
I don't want my documents to be saved in PDF form - what do I do?
Also when they are saved and they are numbers and columns you cannot read them when you try to convert them to word documents.
What am I doing wrong - all I want is my document to be scanned as a word document.
Bev

Hi,
No, you have to select Document, not Photo. By default it will scan all documents to PDF files and all Photos to JPG files. Looks like your option is Auto crop that why it scans one page to many pieces.
For Windows 7, please try (to sacn as PDF),
(a) Double click printer icon on desktop,
(b) Select Scan a Document or Photo,
(c) Select Save as PDF icon (on the left),
(d) Click Scan
Regards.

Hi,
In order:
HP Officejet 4650;
Windows 7;
Yes, I have installed them (that took my ages to get right)
I tried using JPEF - very slow but they came ast separate documents and not on PDF and I will be able to send it on to others now.
Is there a better way?
Bev
