We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I just noticed my 6520 is not making copies anymore either.  Prints fine using USB or e-print... I can scan to pdf and scan to jpeg and it works fine.  What is not working is the copy function.   You guys need to look at your firmware to resolve this issue.

 

Other firmware bugs I have found in the printer firmware in the past 6 months is the printer randomly telling me to use a genuine HP replacement cartridge which I am using Genuine replacements purchased from Office Depot.   I have seen the problem on both regular 564 and 564XL cartridges.

 

Please fix these issues, I shouldn't have to buy a new printer ever 2 years when I print less than 100 pages a year.

 

If I have to buy again, you can believe I will be looking at your competitors.

 

Please contact me me a proper resolution.

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that you are unable to make a copy on the printer, but are able to scan and print, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to help. 

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own. 

 

Copy function of a printer is independent of the software on the computer.

If you are unable to make a copy, please do hard reset (disconnect the power cable of the printer, wait for a minute and connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and turn the printer ON.)

If the printer still does not make a copy after a hard reset. Please contact our phone support for the service or upgrade options for the printer.

As an engineer, that was the first thing I tried.   I left it unplugged over night.

 

This is a firmware bug, plain and simple.  Other people are seeing this issue as well.

 

Please send a support request to your software guys and ask them to fix whatever they broke.
