Hi @Zong_Solomon-82,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8023 All-In-One Printer is stuck at printing the alignment page after restoring, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue.
Cancel the Print Job:
- On your computer, open the print queue.
- Cancel the alignment page print job.
- Restart both the computer and the printer.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Ensure that there are no paper jams in the printer.
- Open all access doors and remove any stuck paper.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Allow the printer to complete its startup process.
Reload Paper:
- Make sure that the paper tray is loaded with the correct type and size of paper.
- Ensure that the paper is properly aligned in the tray.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Verify that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels.
- Replace any empty or low ink cartridges.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website.
- If updates are available, follow the instructions to update the firmware.
Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Uninstall the printer drivers on your computer.
- Download and install the latest drivers from the HP website.
Reset the Printer:
- Access the printer's control panel and navigate to the Settings menu.
- Look for the option to reset the printer settings to factory defaults.
- Perform a reset and see if it resolves the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
