Hi @LLROUSS,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the bottom of your prints and copies is getting cut off on your HP DeskJet 4100e, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
Check Paper Size Settings:
- Make sure that the paper size settings in both your printer settings and the document you're printing are correctly set to match the size of the paper you're using. For example, if you're using A4 paper, ensure that the settings are set to A4.
Adjust Print Margins:
- If you're printing from a computer, check the margin settings in the application you're printing from. Ensure that the margins are not set too narrow, which might be causing part of the document to get cut off.
Align Printer Cartridges:
- Sometimes misalignment of printer cartridges can cause printing issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to align the cartridges.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download the latest drivers from HP's website.
Check for Software Issues:
- If you're using HP Smart or another print management software, check for any updates or settings that might be affecting print quality.
Perform a Printer Calibration:
- Some printers have a calibration feature that can help fix issues with print alignment. Check your printer’s settings or manual for how to perform a calibration.
Check Paper Feed:
- Make sure that the paper is loaded correctly in the input tray and that it’s not skewed or misaligned.
Test with Different Paper:
- Try using different types of paper or sizes to see if the issue persists.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
