I have the same problem.  It started today.  I checked the document feeder tray and cleaned the document feeder apparatus.  When paper is inserted into ADF, the display reads "document loaded".  When I try to copy or fax, error code appears:  Document feeder jam. Clear and reload.  When i click OK, nothing happens and I have to reboot the printer.

There is no paper jammed in the feeder.

What to do next?

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting paper jam error while printing from ADF.

 

    • Open the ADF cover, and then remove any jammed paper.

      Example of clearing a jam from the ADF

  2. Try to print.

Update the printer firmware
