I cannot remove any email addresses listed in the “scan to email” list as I do not have the pin and no longer have access to those emails. I keep getting options to try such as: 1. reset the printer to factory settings, or 2. click “forget pin” but neither of those options will erase the email addresses in my case, unless I have the pin to those emails. There must be another way since I own the printer.

Depending how badly you want email address(es) removed,

Consider the Cold Reset as explained in the User Guide

 Page 174

According to the documentation, the Cold Reset should do it -- on the Down Side, you do have to reconfigure the printer.

Now, Factory Defaults are mentioned on Page 173 -- it doesn't actually say "all user configured" settings are removed.  So - you know -- Factory Defaults might mean there are bits left behind.

To use Cold Reset to restore settings

IMPORTANT
Cold Reset removes all user configured settings, including saved administrator passwords, network
configurations, stored jobs, selected country/region and language, Address Book entries, and Web Services
account information.

You can use this feature if you are selling the printer or giving it to someone else and want to be sure that all
personal information has been removed.
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the
Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).

Next,
2. Touch Printer Maintenance .
3. Touch Restore.
4. Touch Cold Reset.
A message appears, stating what settings will be restored.
5. Touch Continue.

Thanks for the help, but I’ve just tried the “Cold reset” option and the same email addresses are in the “scan to email” list of my printer. Does anyone know how to remove these addresses? There’s got to be a way.

You are welcome.
