Hello @dstrobel,
Thanks for reaching out!
Yes, you can add multiple page scan in MAC as well. But this printer does not have a document feeder and hence you will have to add one page after the other while you scan.
I would suggest you buy a printer with an "Automatic document feeder" (ADF) if you are planning to scan multiple pages. ADF allows you to easily scan / copy multiple pages with one click. Just look for a printer which has an ADF at the top of the printer. You can check few printers here: http://hp.care/2f5b1Pm
Hope that answers your question. Let me know!

"Yes, you can add multiple page scan in MAC as well. "
HOW??? I read the manual which said, briefly and not very helpfully, "Start from your computer, not the screen on the printer." So I found the HP Scan Utility on my MAC, opened it, and tried to fill in everything useful. Then I laboriously scanned 44 sheets one-by-one. End result? I was totally unable to save those scans at all. They are TIFFs, not PDFs, for one thing, and in any event no matter what I filled out in the "Prefix," "Tags," destination, folder, and other options, the "Save" function stayed resolutely grayed out. This was a 40-minute chunk of time that was completely fruitless.

I can't find anything that says, "Show Scan Previow option". I have been trying for about an hour now to scan multiple pages. Sometimes i can, sometimes i can't. The printer has a mind of its own. Do printers fly? I'm on the 44 floor.

This is very frustrating. The so-called "helpful" responses don't help at all.
I'm on an Apple MacBook, and the descriptions given in prior responses don't apply. I don't have an option to "Scan a document or photo." I don't have a "Show Scan Preview" option. I don't have a "plus" button, and I can't "save."
When I open the HP icon, I have one option for scanning: "Scanner." When I go to that, this is what I see:
If I click Scan, all it does is one page.

@dstrobel is exactly right!
If the Envy can’t add multiple pages to a single scan from a Mac, JUST COME RIGHT AND SAY SO, @dvortex, instead of dodging around. And if it CAN be done, then give clear, precise, detailed instructions.
Go to a Mac, and write your instructions from the steps you actually take.
