We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Scan to Network Folder stopped working - it worked previously.
I tried to get it work again - nothing helps.
I am on Win 10 Pro 20H2.

- Enabling SMBv1 on Printer and Win 10 does not help.
- Replacing PC name by IP does not help.
- Sharing folder for Everyone does not help.
- Resetting Printer to factory presets does not help.

 

This should be fixed by HP quickly!

Now it works again. I used:

- Local account "Scanner" (no Microsoft account)

- HP "Scan to Folder Wizard", use short path i.e. D:\scans

- Add "Scanner" to the allowed accounts to share with

Okay, this is my first HP device.
An important functionality stops working after a few months.
HP Support does .... nothing.
No feedback. No inquiries. Just nothing.

Never again a HP device.

- Local account "Scanner" (no Microsoft account)

- HP "Scan to Folder Wizard", use short path i.e. D:\scans

- Add "Scanner" to the allowed accounts to share with
