With computers under Windows, I can scan and send the result on the PC through the menus on the printer/scanner.
With Mac computers, the printer ask to go to HP Smart under the "scan parameters>Scan to a computer". But there is no such menu as "scan parameters", just "printer parameters" exists.
How shall I allo on Mac scan from the printer menu ?

Hi,
Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software.
Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip
As soon as HP Easy start prompts to install HP Smart, close HP Easy Start and press the Skip to Software Download button, then follow the steps on screen to complete the installation and check for any difference, front panel scanning should be available following the software installation.

Hi !
I did the procedure but , in the test part, I have a warning popping out : "Not enough rights to open HP Scanner 3" and then the test page says "Scanner informed of an error". The printing part is working alright.
I tried to get the information about "HP Scanner 3" but couldn't find the application.

Please follow below support document from Apple to resolve a such, by running the HP Scanner 3 app from the Library folder:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212756
Once you are done scanning should work fine, if you experience issues scanning from the printer open Printers & Scanners and double-click the printer, click on Printer Settings and then select the Utility tab and press Open Utility, within the HP Utility window make sure that Scan to Computer is enabled for the printer.
